Monkey Torture

Well, it looks like Love Monkey has been shelved, so I won’t have to try to love it anymore. It’s just another example of intelligent television failing to find a market. I guess there is always more room for reality television, because we all know the dumber the show, the better the ratings.

Do people watch reality TV because they like to watch the humiliation of others? Probably, but they would never admit it, would they? Cruelty is big business and America is buying.

Anyway, I’m going to see Robert Pollard tonight at the Knitting Factory in Hollywood. Should be a great show.
